Ibn Qirtaiba was a magazine of science fiction, speculative fiction and science fantasy that was published between 1993 and 2003, for most of that time edited by Jeremy Malcolm as the coordinator of the SF SIG of Australian Mensa; a special interest group for fans of science fiction, speculative fiction and science fantasy in all their forms. It aimed to cover all forms of the genre, from literary to media, high-brow to low-brow (with the possible exceptions of Lost in Space and the Gor series). Although the magazine is no longer being published, its archives will remain on the Web for posterity, and this Web site may undergo some final improvements such as the selection of some "best of" articles, and perhaps the addition of some "near miss" submissions that never made it into the magazine. |
